dc trolley museum

On Friday, Jed and I went to the DC trolley museum with our friends the Curtises.  We didn't get a chance to look at everything, because I had to go to work just after lunch, but it was fun anyway.

The first thing we did was take a ride on a trolley built in the Netherlands a few years after WWII ended.  Most of the pre-war cars were destroyed.

Jed was okay while we were sitting still...

But wasn't sure what he thought once we got moving.

But we didn't crash, and in the end he got to sit with the trolley driver so it was all okay.

After the trolley ride we went to story time and crafts (for the other kids - Jed doesn't know how to use a glue stick yet...) and then saw some of the street cars in the garage.  All in all it was a nice morning!
