playing catch-up: summer 2014

The summer was jam-packed with things to do. Besides all the traveling for family, I went to Girls' Camp and Youth Conference, and worked some.

When we were not traveling or working, we just played! DC has so much to offer and we spent nearly every day out doing something in the morning, before naptime. Summer days are the best.

In June, we went strawberry picking at Larriland Farm with some of our favourite people, followed by a visit to the animals they have on the property.

We went to the zoo approximately one million times.

We spent time building lots of train tracks and doing crafts.

We played inside...

..and outside...

...and at museums.

But one of the best things about the summer was all the time we had with our friends!
